Today with more and more people working from home (WFH) it has become increasingly important for the Facility Manager (FM) to be able to develop real estate options to reduce or increase their facility footprint. This App will help determine the value of the options offered by competing real estate offers.
This App does not intend to eliminate the need for commercial brokers but instead to help the facility professional develop and understand strategies before engaging brokers.

  Property evaluations are critical to a successful facility change. Also critical to a successful site selection decision is building consensus.
It's important that your "key" stakeholders understand the criteria that will drive the next facility location. The criteria we selected is very broad, but meaningful.  We'll briefly explain each criteria below.
1- Proximity to Employees: In order to attract and retain the best talent you must ask these questions:  How close is public transportation? Are there major expressways or arterial roads leading to the proposed site?  As a general rule, travel time to or from work should not exceed 45-60 minutes each way.
2- Proximity to Customers: Critical: if you must meet with your customers, or deliver product or services to them, or they must come to you.
3- Proximity to suppliers or 3rd party vendor partners.
4- Proximity to executive staff.  While today's business world uses a Work From Home (WFH) strategy at times, the ability to attract and keep key executives that might eventually need to appear at the site.
5- Proximity to an airport is important to those that must travel in to the new site.
6- Neighborhood.  Is the neighborhood "walkable" with access to shopping, good variety of food choices, day-care, parking and public transportation?
 
   
   
  STEP 1: Have your stakeholder committee rank each criteria as it relates to their own team.
We can track a maximum of eight (8). If you have more than eight then combine weights as groups e.g. HR, Finance, operations.
